Athletes have a tendency to go hard and constantly push themselves, which is why doctors and articles will stress the urgency for your need to “rest” during an injury. Slight, and I mean “slight,” as in does not cause your injured area and pain or discomfort is beneficial though. Going for an easy walk or rehabilitation exercises are highly beneficial to the body of an injured athlete, and almost necessary. It’s highly important to pay attention to the way your body reacts to what you do, ensuring there is no discomfort in the area injured what so ever, in order to avoid further damaging the area.
