If I Chose Cycling over Running, will Knee Pain be a Worry of the Past?
Not necessarily. Although cycling can be dramatically less harsh on your knees, there is still a level of concern to be had if you’re prone to having knee pain. Although you are saving your knees from the harsh impact of your feet hitting the ground as you run, there is a degree of knee pain risk with cycling that can occur behind due to inflammation behind the knee, over tightening and/or pulling on the kneecap. Proper stretching and permitting your body to heal when needed is necessary.
