Runner’s Knee Exercises

Runner’s Knee Stretches

- Lay on your back with your knees bent. Slowly lift one foot into the air with the sole pointing upward. Drape the StretchRite® over the sole and hang on to the handles on each side. Gently pull down on the StretchRite®, straightening out your knee as far as you can. Hold for 30 seconds, release, and repeat 3 times.
- Sitting on the floor, stretch one leg out straight in front of you and bend the other leg so that the sole of the foot reaches the knee of the leg that is outstretched. Keep your back straight and lean forward, striving to touch the toes with your fingertips. Hold for 10 seconds, release, and switch to the other side. Repeat this five times.
How to Prevent Runner’s Knee
