After
two months of preparation, a grueling week of voting, and a week of pure
suspense; it is finally time to announce the Champion of our “Building a
Champion” – Medi-Dyne National Video Contest!
Athletic Trainers and Athletic Training students from
coast to coast submitted videos that included Medi-Dyne’s
ProStretch Plus
or
RangeRoller
products. Some videos were informative, some playful, and most were
hilarious. Only the video with the most votes gets to take home a donation
for their School’s AT program. Let’s get down to business, the results…
Congratulations
to our first place Champions the Redhawks from Montclair State University!
The Montclair Athletic Training Education Program has won a donation of
$2,500 after receiving the most votes for their video,
“MSU ATEP
Demo of the ProStretch+ Sponsored by Medi-Dyne”
during the video contest
voting period. They creatively coined the line, “ProStretch Plus is a Must!”
The race for second and third place was a close one,
coming down to the last 10 votes! In the end, the California Baptist
University Athletic Training students clinched second place and will be
taking home a donation of $1,000. Their video
“Making
Champions Everyday” uses both the RangeRoller and ProStretch Plus in
injury prevention scenarios.

Finally, third place goes to The Wildcats at Canton
South High School and their video “Medi-Dyne’s Range Roller Rescues Willie
the Wildcat.” They will win a donation of $500 for their third place
victory, we look forward to seeing Willie’s victory dance.
Thank you to everyone that participated and supported
the contest. The video submissions we received were truly inspiring. We are excited to award donations to Athletic
Training programs, who are continuing to
build champions in schools across the nation. (Cue
Queen’s “We are the Champions”)
“Champions do not become champions when they win
the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing
for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of
their championship character” – T. Alan Armstrong
